With la forteresse, her fifth album, Pomme marks her 30th year with her most personal project yet, which she produced entirely herself for the first time alongside her touring musicians.

Conceived as a four-chapter fable of emancipation, the record draws inspiration from Japan, the United States, and France, oscillating between medieval mythologies and the worlds of Miyazaki. Recorded largely live at Studios de la Fabrique, it brings together intimate folk, piano-vocal arrangements, synthesizers, and sweeping orchestrations.

From family memories to romantic wounds, Pomme sheds her armor in an intimate, rich, and luminous opus that reveals her to be freer than ever.
